Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as required for school settings
- Previous experience working with adolescent or school-aged populations preferred
- Ability to tailor interventions and communication with compassion and creativity
- Strong team collaboration skills and familiarity with IEP processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for primarily 9th-grade students
- Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and other support personnel
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
