Step into a fulfilling role for the 24/25 school year and make a meaningful impact on high school students. We're seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP - CCC) to support a primarily 9th-grade caseload of 35-45 students. This contract position offers a full-time schedule condensed to four days a week, near bustling Berkeley, CA.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP license in the state of California and current CCC credentials
- Previous experience providing speech/language therapy to school-aged students, ideally high schoolers
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and ability to develop effective, individualized plans
- Flexible, resourceful, and committed to fostering student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services for a diverse caseload, focusing on freshmen
- Conduct evaluations and assessments; interpret results to guide therapy and intervention
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate progress and challenges effectively with families, teachers, and staff
- Keep thorough records in compliance with all district and legal standards
- Collaborate to support a positive, inclusive learning environment
