A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for a K-12 educational setting located in Berkeley, CA. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year or an ASAP start, offering flexibility for full-time or part-time employment to accommodate varying preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students across K-12 grades.
- Manage a caseload of up to 65 students full time, with adjustments available for part-time schedules.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Conduct assessments, provide intervention, and support communication development for diverse student needs.
- Support students in one or two school locations to ensure consistency and continuity of care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC certification.
- Experience working within a school setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based speech and language intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students, families, and staff effectively.
- Flexibility to work 37.5 hours per week, adaptable to either full-time or part-time caseloads.
