Step into a rewarding role as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting high school students throughout the full academic year. Your expertise as an SLP-CCC or enthusiastic drive as an SLP-CF will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their communication goals in a vibrant school community near Berkeley, CA. This is a contract, full-time position with a focus on on-site, in-person services—virtual options are not available for this opportunity.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, clinical fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with high school students in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload, deliver assessments, and create IEPs within school timelines
  • Must provide in-person services; virtual-only (VOCO) is not an option

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for high school populations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain organized records, progress notes, and data for compliance and reporting
  • Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services and contribute to school-wide initiatives
