A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a vibrant school setting located in Berkeley, CA. This contract role starts as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year (EOSY). This opportunity is ideal for candidates holding credentials such as SLP, SLP - School, SLP - CFY, or SLP - CCC who are passionate about supporting students’ communication development within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students identified with communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to children across various grade levels
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP, SLP - School, SLP - CFY, or SLP - CCC)
- Experience working within a school district or educational setting preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and families
