Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP documentation and compliance
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with children and supporting diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs and educational goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, including progress notes and evaluation reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student success
  • Conduct screenings and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide consultation and training for educational staff as needed
  • Offer support for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate
