Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license and active SLP-CCC certification
- Prior experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students
- Ability to document progress and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Comfort with caseload management in a diverse school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings for students referred for speech-language services
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy in individual or group settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster inclusive educational experiences
- Provide ongoing education and support to staff and families regarding communication strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and district guidelines
