This contract position offers a blend of on-site and teletherapy service options, with the flexibility to adapt to your schedule through the 2026–2027 school year.

Your expertise will nurture essential communication skills and help build meaningful educational connections. The role begins immediately and continues through the academic year, with a primary focus on one dedicated student, with potential for additional assignments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Experience working in educational settings or with school-aged children
  • Proficiency in both in-person and teletherapy (virtual) modalities
  • Strong skills in IEP preparation, goal setting, and progress documentation
  • Ability to connect with students, educators, and families in a collaborative manner
  • Flexibility for a per diem work schedule
  • California licensure required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly direct speech-language therapy (approximately 60 minutes per week)
  • Complete IEP (Individualized Education Program) preparation and attend relevant meetings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and student progress
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and other educational professionals
  • Adjust and tailor intervention plans as student needs evolve during the school year
  • Be available for additional assignments if more students are referred
