Qualifications/Desired Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Active California SLP license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized education and therapy plans tailored to students’ needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to facilitate holistic support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Offer consultation and resources to school staff as needed
