Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid California state license or eligibility as SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
  • Experience or strong interest in working with preschool populations
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and therapy techniques for early childhood
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for preschool students, as well as for those in private and nonpublic settings
  • Develop individualized treatment plans addressing students’ unique needs
  • Provide direct therapy services, adapting strategies for optimal student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, aides, and families to support each child’s success
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
