This part-time (0.5) position welcomes experienced SLP-CCCs as well as SLP-CFYs eager to make a meaningful impact. You’ll focus on assessing and providing services for a diverse group of preschool students and also conduct assessments for private and nonpublic school settings.

Ideal qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current California SLP license (or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status
  • Prior experience with preschool-aged children preferred
  • Proficient in conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and educational teams
  • Knowledge of IEP development and progress documentation

Key responsibilities you will take on:

  • Conduct assessments for preschool, private school, and nonpublic school students
  • Develop and deliver targeted speech and language therapy, both individually and in groups
  • Implement IEPs and maintain thorough, compliant documentation
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
  • Communicate assessment findings and therapeutic recommendations to parents and staff
  • Support each child’s unique strengths in a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
