This part-time (0.5) position welcomes experienced SLP-CCCs as well as SLP-CFYs eager to make a meaningful impact. You’ll focus on assessing and providing services for a diverse group of preschool students and also conduct assessments for private and nonpublic school settings.
Ideal qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status
- Prior experience with preschool-aged children preferred
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and educational teams
- Knowledge of IEP development and progress documentation
Key responsibilities you will take on:
- Conduct assessments for preschool, private school, and nonpublic school students
- Develop and deliver targeted speech and language therapy, both individually and in groups
- Implement IEPs and maintain thorough, compliant documentation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Communicate assessment findings and therapeutic recommendations to parents and staff
- Support each child’s unique strengths in a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
