Step into a contract opportunity designed for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a difference in pediatric school settings. For the 26/27 school year, beginning after Labor Day, play a vital role supporting students’ communication and language skills, while also guiding a talented team of SLPAs.

In this role, your expertise will help shape outcomes for children, as you collaborate with educators, families, and support staff. You will oversee evaluations, intervention planning, and provide professional supervision to two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality services.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state SLP license or eligibility
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
  • Skills in supervising and mentoring SLPAs highly valued
  • Comfort with conducting and interpreting speech/language evaluations in a K-12 environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services
  • Supervise and mentor two SLPAs, supporting their development and reviewing service delivery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student growth and meet IEP goals
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation
