Your Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico SLP license (via NMRLD and NMPED) or pending status by assignment start date
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred but not required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Team-oriented mindset and a passion for student achievement
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct speech/language, voice, and fluency evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-based support teams
