Full-time opportunities are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists with a passion for supporting students’ communication skills at both elementary and secondary school levels. This contract role offers the chance to make a significant impact by providing essential therapy and interventions to a diverse student population.

Highlights of the position include a manageable caseload (estimated 40-50 students) and a commitment of approximately 37.5 hours per week. There are two positions open, offering a collaborative and supportive environment where experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) can flourish while building valuable professional skills.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Current (or eligibility to obtain) New Mexico RLD license and NMPED license
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-age children
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring is a plus
  • Open to both fully licensed SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) seeking their Clinical Fellowship experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments, direct therapy, and consultative services to approximately 40-50 students
  • Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to student needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with federal and state requirements
  • Serve students at both elementary and secondary school campuses
