This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced SLP professionals who are passionate about helping students find their voice and reach academic milestones. The position is part-time, three days per week, starting as soon as possible through June 28th.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Background in educational settings with a focus on pediatric and adolescent populations
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, social communication, and cognitive-communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student success in the classroom
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment progress, and session notes
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and offer professional insight on best practices for speech and language support
- Promote strategies for inclusive communication within the school environment
