Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Berryville, VA

Key Qualifications:

• Active Virginia SLP License required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to diverse student needs
• Commitment to onsite services (virtual option is not available)

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students as outlined in individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to each student
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation according to state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other staff
• Offer consultation services and in-class support to educators as needed
• Facilitate communication strategies and educational tools for a diverse student population
