The assignment runs from ASAP through mid-December, with a commitment of 5 hours per week, making it an excellent fit for professionals seeking a flexible, part-time schedule.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working with school-age populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop IEPs and monitor student progress effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to varying student needs and school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students, individually and in groups, according to IEPs
- Assess speech, language, and communication abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student goals
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress notes, and IEP documentation
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
