Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Berwyn, IL

Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting students from early childhood through 8th grade. An on-site contract position is available for a speech-language pathologist who is passionate about helping young learners succeed. Starting in August and continuing through late May, you’ll provide vital speech and language services for a caseload of approximately 70 students, in collaboration with another SLP. The workload will be divided between a full-time and a part-time therapist to ensure balanced support for all students.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Speech-Language Pathologist license from IDFPR
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student needs across EC-8th grade
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Must be able to work on-site—remote options are not available
• ISBE number must be provided at the time of application

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students with varying needs
• Complete evaluations, progress reports, and develop IEP goals in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Adhere to union rules and district procedures throughout the contract
