Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • School-based SLP experience, preferably with elementary populations
  • Strong communication skills and dedication to collaborative service delivery
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, though not mandatory
  • Ability to work 24-30 hours per week on a flexible contract basis

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to elementary students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals to develop and implement intervention plans
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, support IEP development, and contribute to a nurturing school culture
  • Adapt therapy techniques to address diverse communication needs, cultural backgrounds, and learning styles
