Step into a rewarding contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting K-8 students—primarily in 5th through 8th grades—during a maternity leave coverage. You’ll work closely with a manageable caseload of 15-20 students, providing essential speech and language services within a collaborative school environment. The schedule offers approximately 32 hours per week, allowing for work-life balance while making a lasting positive impact. The assignment is set to begin on August 17, 2026, and continue through November 27, 2026, with new staff training details to be determined.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- School-based experience, ideally supporting K-8 populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and document progress
- Dedication to fostering a supportive atmosphere for student learning
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy to a focused caseload
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support IEP development and implementation
- Deliver services in both individual and group settings, as needed
