Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required
  • ASHA certification (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants encouraged to apply
  • Valid Alabama SLP license
  • Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric clients is a strong asset

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver thorough assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide both direct therapy and consultative services to students
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines
  • Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with staff, families, and caregivers
