Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure and certification as required for school-based SLPs
  • Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Knowledge of a variety of communication disorders and intervention strategies
  • Ability to develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Organizational skills to manage caseloads, document progress, and meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language services to students as outlined in their IEPs during the ESY program
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track progress
  • Work closely with educators, parents, and other support personnel
  • Use evidence-based strategies and interventions to address articulation, language, fluency, and related concerns
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and educational planning for assigned students
