Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to make a lasting difference in the lives of preschool and school-age students! Two contract opportunities are available in Carbon and Lehigh Counties, supporting preschool early intervention programs. These positions provide a dynamic, rewarding setting for SLPs passionate about fostering communication skills in young learners.
You’ll deliver itinerant services primarily in the early intervention setting, with the flexibility to transition to K-12 assignments as determined by school-year needs. The assignment is based on a 35-hour work week, following a year-round early intervention calendar. Locations for the roles are in Carbon County or Lehigh County.
Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license and current educator credential (Instructional I or II)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience providing school-based and/or early childhood speech-language services
- Background in itinerant or flexible caseloads strongly preferred
- Comfort working in-person in varied school environments
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to preschool children within early intervention programs
- Maintain flexibility and transition to support school-age caseloads, PreK–12, as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop student-centered goals
- Complete ongoing assessments and maintain detailed documentation per program standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide resources to families
