Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Bethlehem, PA

Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives by providing speech-language services within a supportive educational environment. This contract position is available from approximately December 13th through February 25th, serving a caseload of around 65 students in grades 3-12. Your day will start at the junior high/high school from 7:15 to 9:00, then transition to S.S. Palmer from 9:00 to 2:30, following a steady and predictable schedule throughout the assignment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Active and valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
• School-based SLP experience preferred; new graduates with relevant practicum may be considered
• Strong collaborative skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt therapy approaches for varying student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct and indirect therapy services for students in grades 3-12
• Collaborate with special education staff and classroom teachers to support student progress
• Document student performance and maintain accurate therapy notes in compliance with school requirements
• Attend IEP meetings, providing recommendations and updates as needed
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
