This position focuses on delivering high-quality in-person speech and language services to a diverse caseload of approximately 20 students, each with individual communication needs. Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for Maine and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric communication disorders
  • Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy goals
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for students with varied abilities
  • Develop and implement direct therapy interventions tailored to each student’s needs
  • Create and maintain thorough clinical documentation, progress notes, and IEP reports
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to deliver coordinated care
  • Attend IEP meetings and provide actionable recommendations for student support
  • Engage in collaborative problem-solving to adapt strategies as needed throughout the academic year
