Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for Maine and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric communication disorders
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy goals
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for students with varied abilities
- Develop and implement direct therapy interventions tailored to each student’s needs
- Create and maintain thorough clinical documentation, progress notes, and IEP reports
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to deliver coordinated care
- Attend IEP meetings and provide actionable recommendations for student support
- Engage in collaborative problem-solving to adapt strategies as needed throughout the academic year
