A healthcare role is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within an educational setting. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with children in schools, delivering personalized therapy to support communication and language development.
Location: Biddeford, ME
Work Environment: School setting with travel requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
- Travel to multiple school sites as required by the assignment
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between school locations
- Understanding of educational regulations and IEP processes is a plus
