Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong knowledge in assessment, intervention, and caseload management for diverse student populations
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to develop IEPs and collaborate with educational professionals and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine eligibility and develop effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports according to district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
