Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in California
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge in assessment, intervention, and caseload management for diverse student populations
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to develop IEPs and collaborate with educational professionals and families

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine eligibility and develop effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports according to district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
