Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans according to students’ IEP goals
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to evaluate and monitor student progress
- Provide support and training to teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs and strategies
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
