Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans according to students’ IEP goals
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual or group settings
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to evaluate and monitor student progress
  • Provide support and training to teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs and strategies
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
