This immediate opening focuses on working with a dynamic caseload of approximately 50 children, ages 8-12, supporting their speech and language development through the end of May. You’ll be assigned to one site, ensuring the opportunity to build rapport and meaningful progress with your students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure; CCC or CFY candidates considered
- Experience in school-based and/or healthcare SLP settings
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEP) processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- An understanding of evidence-based intervention strategies for children
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students aged 8-12
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Develop and implement individualized goals as part of IEP teams
- Document sessions and track progress in accordance with school and professional standards
