Step into a dynamic summer role supporting students’ communication and language growth in an extended school year program. This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a difference during the vital summer months. You will play an integral part in helping elementary students achieve their goals, working with a supportive team in a professional and rewarding environment.

This role runs from July 6th through August 14th, 2026, with Monday through Thursday shifts from 8:30am to 12:00pm—offering a balanced 14-hour work week that allows time for other summer pursuits.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • School-based experience preferred, especially with elementary students
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in an ESY setting
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Engage in team meetings and participate in planning for effective ESY service delivery
