Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current license (or eligibility) as an SLP for the state of Mississippi
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY applicants considered
- Pediatric and/or school-based experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing to IEP development and implementation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s educational goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school standards
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services as needed
- Engage in ongoing professional learning and support activities
