Step into a dynamic contract assignment supporting students' communication and language development for a maternity leave coverage starting at the beginning of the academic year and continuing through winter break. You'll engage with approximately 60 students at an elementary school setting, providing high-quality Speech-Language Pathology services to help each child reach their full potential. The role welcomes both experienced SLP-CCC professionals as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY), offering a range of experiences in pediatric speech therapy, school-based support, and teletherapy.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
  • Previous experience in a school environment preferred
  • Strong skills working with pediatric populations
  • Comfortable providing both on-site and teletherapy services as needed
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy (individual and group) for elementary-aged students
  • Complete assessments, evaluations, and develop IEP goals and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
  • Adapt instruction and support to diverse student needs
  • Maintain detailed session notes and required documentation in compliance with district and state standards
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
