This full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a school setting in Biola, CA. The role requires a dedicated professional to provide speech and language services, managing a high caseload and supporting students in accordance with school district requirements.
Key Qualifications:
- Possess a valid SLP credential with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of California school experience
- At least 1 year of experience with the Special Education Information System (SEIS)
- Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with facilitators is a plus
- Ability to effectively manage high caseloads and multiple referrals
- Willingness to work onsite full time
- Candidates with Clinical Fellowship (CF) status are encouraged to apply; however, SLPA applicants will not be considered
Role and Responsibilities:
- Serve approximately 60-65 students, with 25-30 receiving speech-only services
- Collaborate with SLPA support staff to deliver effective speech therapy interventions
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school and district policies
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Ensure timely and thorough communication with parents, educators, and administrative staff
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in an elementary school within Biola, California
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Onsite presence is mandatory for this role
