Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Birmingham, Alabama

As a Speech Language Pathologist in this school-based setting, you will conduct a variety of assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs. You will also play a key role in developing and maintaining Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that empower students to achieve their communication goals. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required
• Active Alabama SLP License (or the ability to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
• Experience working with pediatric populations and within school settings is valued
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in line with students’ needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct therapy in both group and individual sessions
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
