You will work closely with a diverse pediatric population, utilizing your expertise across various SLP domains—whether you’re an experienced SLP-CCC, a Clinical Fellow (CFY), or have a background in teletherapy or healthcare settings.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP licensure (or eligibility) in Alabama
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, healthcare, or teletherapy settings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other service providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose students’ speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide therapy sessions individually and in group settings, both in-person and virtually (as applicable)
- Maintain accurate student records and progress documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary teams
- Educate and support teachers and families on strategies to enhance communication skills
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and compliance with federal and state guidelines
