Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse speech and language challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to assist with accommodations and student progress
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for IEPs and student records
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team efforts
  • Serve as a resource for staff on speech and language development strategies
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices
