Openings include full-time and split-campus positions, each with a varied yet manageable caseload of approximately 60 students. You’ll be part of a supportive educational environment from August 2026 to May 2027, collaborating with teams dedicated to student success.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification in Alabama
- Current SLP Educator certification for Alabama schools
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in school-based SLP services strongly preferred
- Ability to provide services onsite during standard school hours
- Strong collaboration skills and a passion for working with a diverse student population
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and student records in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
