School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Birmingham, Alabama

Service will be provided at multiple campuses, including Burkett Preschool, Lipscomb Elementary, Hueytown Middle, Pinson Valley High, and UW/Bagley, all within a supportive and dynamic district.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• SLP-CCC certification required

• Previous experience in educational settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Fingerprint clearance required
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload of approximately 60 students

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver direct therapy and intervention to students with diverse speech and language needs
• Evaluate and develop individualized plans of care, including IEP development and implementation
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
• Maintain timely and accurate student records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Share expertise and provide support within a multidisciplinary team across preschool, elementary, middle, and high school environments
• Participate in ongoing professional development relevant to your assignment
