Three contract opportunities are available supporting students’ speech and language development onsite at a variety of schools. Each position offers a unique caseload, allowing for professional growth and rewarding collaboration with talented colleagues. With assignments at high school, elementary, and middle school levels, you’ll have the chance to shape student success in an environment that values expertise and dedication.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP – CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Valid Alabama SLP License and SLP Educator certification
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and student-centered therapy

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments and deliver individualized therapy for students at assigned schools
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of services and student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
  • Rotate between assigned campuses as outlined in your schedule

  • Pinson Valley High School (full time)
  • McAdory Elementary / McCalla Elementary (split schedule, 2/3 days)
  • Hueytown Middle / Lipscomb Elementary (split schedule, 3/2 days)
