Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Birmingham, AL

What You Need to Succeed:

• Current or pending ABESPA AL SLP Cert or AL SLP DOE Cert (either is sufficient to begin)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Demonstrated experience in school-based speech-language services
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students and educational staff
• Ability to tailor interventions and therapy sessions for students in 3rd through 6th grades

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct onsite speech-language therapy to students at the intermediate school level
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Administer assessments and create progress reports to track student achievement
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s development
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive team environment
