Requirements and Preferred Experience
- Valid Professional Educator Certification
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited institution
- Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding services for children with disabilities
- Understanding of pediatric and adolescent development, diagnostic instruments, and terminology relevant to physical and learning disabilities
- Ability to analyze and interpret educational law, policy, and data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Preferred: ASHA Certification and ABSESPA Licensure
