Step into a fulfilling role supporting students from preschool through 8th grade in a contract-based position designed for passionate speech-language pathologists. This opportunity centers on a manageable caseload of 10 students, many of whom require speech-only services, all within a single, accessible location near Bishopville, SC, and Camden, SC. With a flexible schedule of 8–10 hours per week, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact through both in-person and teletherapy sessions.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in a range of settings—schools, pediatrics, teletherapy, and healthcare—with experience as a certified SLP (CCC) or SLP-CFY. Your knowledge will help guide students in their communication skills journey, equipping them for both academic and personal success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license in South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status accepted
  • Previous pediatric and/or school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and digital documentation
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and rapport-building abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy for speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop strategies and support plans
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Customize therapy—speech-only services included—to fit each student’s needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings where appropriate and contribute to student goals
