Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging educational setting. This full-time position begins August 14, 2025, and concludes May 22, 2026. You'll work with a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students, ranging from Pre-K through 5th grade, all within one supportive school environment. Collaboration is a key feature—an SLPA will also be assigned part-time at your site to assist in delivering speech and language services.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Holds (or is eligible for) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or is a strong Clinical Fellow (CFY) applicant
  • Valid state licensure as required for school-based SLPs
  • Experience with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings strongly preferred
  • Familiar with the needs of elementary students, including Pre-K through 5th grade
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of each child
  • Consult and collaborate regularly with the assigned SLPA to maximize service delivery
  • Keep accurate records of student progress and interventions
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing your expertise to student success
