School Speech Language Pathologist - Black Hawk, CO

The position requires a dedicated, skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), ready to work in a dynamic and supportive school setting located near Black Hawk, CO.

In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with students, parents, and educators to foster communication development and academic achievement. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 31, with the possibility of extending into a longer-term placement for the right candidate.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current valid CCC-SLP certification
• Colorado state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
• Experience with school-aged children, including PreK through grade 12
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Organizational excellence and flexibility to manage varied caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to student needs
• Track and document progress, updating goals as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student development
• Provide input for eligibility evaluations and participate in IEP meetings
