An exciting full-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to support students for the 2026/2027 school year. This position focuses on working with an elementary school caseload, providing assessment, intervention, and consultative services to help young learners achieve their communication goals.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged students
- Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Excellence in both written and spoken communication with students, educators, and families
- A collaborative approach and willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment plans based on student needs
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations to identify student needs and develop recommendations
- Designing and delivering therapy services in both individual and group formats
- Creating and updating IEPs, maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Providing training, consultation, and support for teachers and parents
- Tracking student progress and adapting therapy plans as appropriate
- Engaging in meetings, professional development, and team collaboration
