School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join a school team in Block Island, Rhode Island for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a part-time opportunity serving a PreK – 8th grade caseload, with the majority of students in Preschool settings.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing speech and language services to young learners and students with diverse communication needs, including those who utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide speech-language therapy services to students in PreK through 8th grade
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support students using AAC devices and communication systems
• Deliver evidence-based interventions for students with speech, language, social communication, and pragmatic language needs
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (if applicable)
• Participate in IEP meetings and educational planning
Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) interventions
• Experience with AAC evaluations, implementation, and device support
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
