This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping children reach their full potential, whether you are an SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP experienced in teletherapy, or an SLPA with school-based expertise.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of SLPA program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLP roles
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly valued
- Comfort with both in-person and teletherapy delivery models a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators and families
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and adapt to students’ diverse needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop targeted intervention plans for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver direct therapy services individually and in group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and maintain thorough documentation
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Support outreach and training for classroom staff relating to communication strategies
