Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date
- ASHA Certification (CCC) or good standing as an SLP-CFY
- School-based or pediatric experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to establish rapport with preschool and elementary-aged children
- Collaborative approach to working with educators and families
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations
- Create and implement individualized therapy plans for diverse speech and language needs
- Deliver direct services to a caseload of 36-40 students
- Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with teachers, specialists, and parents
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
- Adapt strategies and interventions for varying skill levels and backgrounds
