Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Prior experience working within K-12 school settings strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication and organization skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Comfortable working independently with a small caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, diagnosis, and therapy for students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized interventions tailored to each student’s needs
  • Keep detailed records of student progress and adapt plans as necessary
  • Consult with classroom staff and parents to support generalization of therapy strategies into the educational environment
  • Attend and participate in necessary IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for service planning
  • Maintain regular and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
