Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience working within K-12 school settings strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication and organization skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Comfortable working independently with a small caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnosis, and therapy for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized interventions tailored to each student’s needs
- Keep detailed records of student progress and adapt plans as necessary
- Consult with classroom staff and parents to support generalization of therapy strategies into the educational environment
- Attend and participate in necessary IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for service planning
- Maintain regular and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
