Step into a dynamic contract role serving K-5th grade students in a supportive educational environment located near Blue Springs and Kansas City, MO. This position is ideal for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists seeking to make a direct impact in a French immersion setting—no French language skills required. You’ll support a diverse caseload across two locations, delivering essential speech and language services throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities will include collaborating closely with educators and families to develop and implement tailored communication plans. Utilizing your clinical skills, you’ll assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders ranging from mild to severe. This opportunity also involves participation in IEP meetings, dynamic teletherapy services, maintenance of accurate records, and ongoing progress monitoring to foster student growth.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility.
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly preferred.
  • Confidence in managing a mixed caseload of K-5 students with varied communication needs.
  • Keen understanding of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities.
  • Comfortable providing teletherapy as needed.
  • Enthusiasm for team collaboration and a proactive approach with diverse learners.

Key Details:

  • Full-time, contract position: 8 hours daily, Monday through Friday.
  • School-based and teletherapy hybrid options available.
  • Academic year contract: August 11, 2026 – May 28, 2027.
  • Competitive compensation: $45-55 per hour, commensurate with experience.
