Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based settings, especially with autism programs, preferred
- Strong commitment to collaborative, student-centered practice
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in an elementary autism program
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote communication goals
- Monitor student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and adjust approaches when necessary
- Contribute actively during IEP meetings and support multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with school and state requirements throughout your assignment
