Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary students by providing speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school environment. Working closely with another SLP and an SLP-A, you will manage and deliver impactful interventions, ensuring each child’s progress and success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior school-based SLP experience, specifically with elementary populations
- Expertise in case management and IEP development
- Ability to provide mentorship and collaborate effectively with an onsite SLP-A
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to supporting a diverse student population
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent required
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 21 students, with additional responsibility as service provider for a total of 76 students (including those under case management)
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Deliver direct therapy services primarily to elementary-aged learners
- Collaborate with a site-based SLP-A, providing guidance and delegating tasks as appropriate
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary planning
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in compliance with district and state standards
