Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) on a contract basis. This flexible position runs from late August 2026 through late May 2027, offering part-time work for 16-24 hours each week. Located near Blue Springs, Missouri, you’ll work in person at an elementary school, providing services to an estimated caseload of about 20 students, spread out over 2-3 days each week.

Qualifications & Experience
- Active SLP-CCC credential required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged children
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective team and family collaboration
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans and maintain accurate records
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students, both individually and in groups
- Conduct assessments and document progress, updating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
- Consult with educators and families, providing recommendations and resources
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation per school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
