School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Blue Springs, Missouri

Put your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work supporting students across a dynamic school environment near Blue Springs, MO. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity allows you to make a direct impact by collaborating with dedicated education teams within a supportive district. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 4:40pm, following the academic year from late August through May.

As part of this role, you will split your time between Liberty High School (three days a week), Heritage Middle School, and potentially one additional school. At Liberty High, you’ll provide targeted services for students in the ESC and BEST classrooms, supporting approximately 11 students, while also assisting with speech-language needs at the other assigned sites.

Requirements:

• Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience in school-based SLP roles or with student populations preferred
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt services for varying student needs within multiple settings
• Passion for fostering student growth and empowering diverse learners

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students per IEPs
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
• Maintain clear documentation and progress records in alignment with state and district standards
• Communicate with educators, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and support positive learning environments
